This unit holds 1.2-quarts of oil (recommended 10W-30) and features a low oil shut-off sensor and a Quick Drain oil tube for easy changes.

Runs whole house
It is not quiet, but can run whole house with this generator. Including 3.5 ton central A/C (compressor soft start installed). Power quality is noticeably better than with conventional generator I had before.

Champion DH8750 Open Frame Digital Hybrid Generator
The price I paid for this beautiful machine was half what I saw it advertised for elsewhere. This was shipped directly from Champion and despite it being holiday season when I ordered arrived in the window promised by National Generator. It took maybe 20 minutes to put on the wheel kit and pull handle, connect the battery cable, and put in oil and gas. I pulled out the choke knob as instructed in the quick start guide, hit the super simple electric start button and it sprang to life in literally 2 seconds! Runs like a charm, and way quieter than other generators I’ve borrowed or heard running in the neighborhood. Hitting the eco switch made it quieter yet. Can’t wait to have the opportunity to test it under load. Super impressed so far!

Great for the most part on the equipment
Most everything is 5 stars with the exception of the exhaust/ spark arrestor. Upon inspection I found that one of the bolts was cross-threaded and stripped. I ended up having to drill and re-tap so a little quality issue. Customer service I have to give a 3 on both Champion and National. Both companies do not answer emails or call you back. But the unit runs great and easy to get ready with the quick start guide.
